Market Access

One view of the market, across every insurer that matters.

Most families start with health insurance — basic cover (KVG) and supplementary plans from all major Swiss providers. We then apply the same standard of comparison to pillar 3a and 3b, household and personal liability: which insurers would actually accept you, what each option costs over time, and where the policy wording quietly differs. One advisor, one overview, in English.

Which providers and products are genuinely open to you depends on your circumstances, your canton of residence and each insurer's current acceptance criteria. We do not name or promote individual brands on this website.

Frequently Asked

Questions we hear most often.

Do I have to insure my newborn separately?
Yes. Every resident in Switzerland — including a newborn — must be registered with a basic health insurer within three months of birth. We help parents complete this calmly, in the right order.
What is the difference between basic and supplementary insurance?
Basic health insurance (KVG) is mandatory and standardised by law. Supplementary insurance is optional, varies by insurer, and considers age, health and lifestyle. We explain the trade-offs without recommending specific brands.
Do you sell insurance?
We provide clear, transparent guidance about the Swiss system. Personal insurance advice and mediation are carried out exclusively by FINMA-registered insurance intermediaries. We do not promote individual insurers or products on this website.
How long does a consultation take?
Usually 45–60 minutes. We take the time to actually understand your situation before discussing any options.
Do you charge for the first conversation?
No. The initial consultation is complimentary and comes with no obligation.
